This is the most miraculous night of babysitting I’ve experienced with my normal job. Both kids ASLEEP. and before 9!!
I’m enjoying work quite a bit and happy to have something to do with my life while at home! Generally in a good mood about things!
enjoying my evening. I have nothing particular to do tomorrow until 5pm when I work. considering biking.

Well, I realized it’s been about 6 or 7 months since I updated this blog. A ridiculous amount has happened since then and there is definitely no way I can write about everything, but the main point is that I made it through Year 1 with flying colors. I got really great grades both semesters, made some lifelong friends, and learned a lot about myself.

Swimmingly, thanks
College continues to go just fine. Classes have started now, and I’m almost through my first week. I’ve been here a week, so I’m feeling more at home, and not homesick at all which is fabulous.
At the moment I’m just swimming with all the classes, new information, new people, and new everything. It’s crazy, but I love it. The people I am meeting are amazing and...

Hello. One day left. Actually only about…..15 hours. It’s been awhile since I updated. Computer problems….are now sorted, finished working, and have been packing for the past few days. I’ll be updating way more often from now on with random stuff from school and from life. Get excited about it.
quick update
It’s been a busy few days. Went to a horse show, Charlie was very good and we did a couple jumping classes (his first time). Then I came home late last night and packed and now i’m in Hartford, CT. I’m working this whole week at a music camp, so that should be fun and exciting…
Otherwise, just counting down the days til college (19!)

"I hate doctors"
So today I had a doctor’s appt to prep for college. No big deal really, but I’ve always had this thing about doctors. Namely, I hate them. I just get really really nervous and uptight and worried and whatever else. I think this stems from when I was young and spending a few days in the hospital with a somewhat traumatic experience….it’s not not my favorite thing to do.

I’m going to take my brother out for dinner tonight. Sounds like fun, right? I hope so. I also need to go shopping but I probably won’t make him do that with me cause he’ll be miserable.
Working at horse camp this week. Sort of. Actually not really, I’m just sort of there. The kids are pretty self-sufficient this week, so I just ride a bit and then sit around. ...

So with a month left before I leave for school, it hit me today that I have two pieces to learn for my orchestra audition which will occur the first week of school. This is a slight problem since I haven’t had much time so far this summer, but hopefully it will turn out all right!
So with that, I shall go practice and try to whip myself into shape… ciao
