hmm
Well, I realized it’s been about 6 or 7 months since I updated this blog. A ridiculous amount has happened since then and there is definitely no way I can write about everything, but the main point is that I made it through Year 1 with flying colors. I got really great grades both semesters, made some lifelong friends, and learned a lot about myself.
One major change since my last update is that my roommate and I had somewhat of a falling-out. It is too long and ridiculous of a story to relay here, but let’s just say I got out of the situation as quickly as I could, and as a result of that I found one of my best friends, my new roomie, Andrea. We get along really well, live together very happily and we are rooming next year too! That has been a relief, the first situation was definitely not the greatest for multiple reasons.
Cello continues to go really well. I am entering two competitions in the fall, so the majority of my summer will be spent practicing for those. I don’t really like to practice very much, but I’m hoping that these competitions will really motivate me so I can make some great progress this summer. The other plans I have for the summer are working at an organic cafe here in Ithaca, the summer camp that I worked at last year, and relaxing after a very eventful and stressful school year.
Life is crazy and continues to move along. How much has changed in the past year…. it is incredible. Until next time- peace out!
